- Microsoft DPM is unable to run restore after reverse replication is completed.
Current situation:

Questions :
- Any configuration we missing?
- Is it related to the DPM issue?
- What should we check and how to proceed with the restore jobs?

2023-06-12T02:02:18.51+00:00 Hi,
Based on the screenshot provided, it appears that the "Re-catalog Imported Tape" option is grayed out, which may indicate that it is not currently selectable. There could be a few reasons for this:
The tape may not be in a state that allows it to be recataloged. For example, if the tape has already been recataloged, this option may not be available.
There may be other DPM jobs or processes running that are preventing the option from being selected. In this case, waiting for these jobs to complete may enable the option to become selectable.
It could also be a DPM issue. In this case, you can try updating to the latest version of DPM and applying any available hotfixes.
To proceed with the restore job, you can try the following steps:
Make sure the tape with the data you want to restore is inserted and available in the tape library.
Perform a detailed inventory of the tape library to ensure that DPM can detect the tape.
If the tape is not imported, you can try importing the tape manually by selecting the "Import" option in the DPM console.
If the tape is imported but not recataloged, wait for any current DPM jobs to complete, then try recataloging the tape again.
Once the tape is recataloged, you should be able to select the tape for recovery and proceed with the restore job.
