Hello,
when I am creating a new Load Balancer I can set up Microsoft or ISP routing preference for outbound connectivity.

But how can I review this setting for an existing Azure LB?
Can I change it ?

    Hello @Jan Vávra ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & hope you are doing well.

I understand that you would like to know where you can review the routing preference setting for an existing Azure load balancer and is it possible to change it.

You can review/check the routing preference setting for an existing Azure load balancer by going to the Overview section of the associated Public IP address of that load balancer.

    • In Azure portal, go to Frontend IP configuration of your Load balancer, make a note of the IP address name.
    • Search for that Public IP address in your Azure portal and check the Overview section as below, where you can find the configured routing preference for that IP address:

    User's image

However, you cannot change this setting, once the IP is created.

    User's image

    Refer: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/virtual-network/ip-services/virtual-network-public-ip-address#create-a-public-ip-address

You can create a new Public IP address with your desired routing preference and associate it to your existing load balancer.

Kindly let us know if the above helps or you need further assistance on this issue.
