Yes. For Edge, it is needed to deploy a configuration profile "Update policy override default" to update.

Also, wanted to know when and how this monthly channel updates taggers as I saw there a tool/process which should kick in for this to take updates.

@Vinod Survase I think the settings you configured is correct. And the profile "Enable Automatic Updates", Office periodically checks for updates. When updates are detected, Office downloads and applies them in the background. Based on my understanding, these settings are enough.
