I've tried installing multiple versions of Azure Storage Explorer on a Server 2008 system. Either the install won't launch, or the app won't launch after the install completes.
Then I tried installing it on Server 2012. The install completed, but when I launched the app, it failed, and the server is now unresponsive.
Does this application work on servers, or only on desktops? If on servers, is there a version that actually works?

To clarify, the provided answer was helpful, even though it didn't fully answer my question. And in all fairness my original question is not sufficiently detailed.
I need to know if there is any version of Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer that will install and run on Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition SP2.
Yes, I know this OS has been out of support for some time, but we need Storage Explorer installed on it for the vendor to dump database and other info to their Azure Storage for review as we work to archive the data and decommission the server.
The answers provided thus far only list system requirements for the current version of Storage Explorer. One answer posted a link to GitHub, but the link is also only for the current version. GitHub does provide download links for older versions of Storage Explorer, but so far, I have been unable to find the system requirements for any of the old versions.
Process of elimination has been fruitless thus far, as I have attempted to install/run over 15 versions without success.

Latest version of Azure Storage Explorer supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems only. Also, there are requirements like number of bits and .net framework. Details are here

@Howard, Darryl P Currently the minimum version required is Windows 10. Mapping this to the server versions of Windows means the minimum server version Storage Explorer is expected to run on is Server 2016. Support for Windows 7/8/8.1 was dropped in 1.29.0.
