Are you trying to measure the throughput of Azure Backup on a VM?

Are you trying to measure VM throughput?

Any additional information, documentation, or references would be greatly appreciated. I have also removed the Azure Active Directory tag and re-tagged your thread with Azure VM, and Azure Backup.

@Mule, Vinod I may be late to this thread, Sorry!

Can you please provide more clarity on the final requirement? Do we want the throughput for a completed job? Or set a throughput for future backup jobs?

1) If you want speed of a completed backup job, there is no direct way. You can get the transferred data size and the duration from backup jobs and calculate some ‘speed’/’throughput’
2) There is no option for customer to control/configure any throughput for a backup job.

Since this is for Azure VM, the backup will not affect VM’s network at all (since data transfer is via Azure backbone) and hence I would like to know what is the final request/goal.

You could set up some bandwidth\throughput testing while the backups are running:
