Hey there, Im a student using Azure for a project Im working on. I am having an issue with the output on my Stream Analytics Job. When trying to change the output from "Provide Power BI settings manually" to "Select Power BI from your subscriptions" it doesn't change. I make sure it stays on the correct options I need and after pressing save, it runs a test, which always work but when checking the output hasnt changed a thing. How do I fix or what am I doing worng?

@Meer, Miguel van der - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

It sounds like you are having an issue with changing the output of your Azure Stream Analytics job from "Provide Power BI settings manually" to "Select Power BI from your subscriptions".

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot this issue:

    • Check your Azure subscription. Make sure that you have a valid Power BI subscription associated with your Azure account. You can check this by going to the Azure portal and navigating to the "Subscriptions" tab.
    • Check your Power BI workspace. Make sure that you have a valid Power BI workspace created and that you have the necessary permissions to access it. You can check this by going to the Power BI portal and navigating to the "Workspaces" tab.
    • Check your Stream Analytics job settings. Make sure that you have entered the correct Power BI workspace ID and dataset name in the Stream Analytics job settings. You can check this by going to the Stream Analytics job settings in the Azure portal and navigating to the "Outputs" tab.
    • Test your Stream Analytics job. Run a test on your Stream Analytics job to make sure that it is working correctly. You can do this by going to the Stream Analytics job settings in the Azure portal and navigating to the "Overview" tab. Click on the "Test" button to run a test.
    • Check your Power BI dataset. Make sure that the data is being correctly output to your Power BI dataset. You can check this by going to the Power BI portal and navigating to the "Datasets" tab.

If you continue to experience issues, you may share detailed on steps which you have tried along with screenshot of the error message for further assistance.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
