My colleague made a presentation in PPT and I want to convert to Google Slides / G-Drive for ease of sharing and editing. Does anyone know how to convert to Google Slides?

Hi Please try this: First upload the PowerPoint file to your Google Drive . Then, Right-click or command-click the PowerPoint file in your Google Drive . In the dropdown menu, hover over the “Open with” option and select Google Slides. Once the file opens in Google Slides, click File on the top toolbar and Save as Google Slides. Don't forget to upvote/ like and accept the answer^^

Thanks. I hate MS and their disdain for design -- and care deeply about UX so avoiding MS even when my job thinks we should be using it is vital to my career, sanity and efficiency. Thanks.

I mean seriously, PPT has the worst type layout engine of all typesetting tools of all time. How unprofessional is that geez. It's 2023 and you should never try to edit a bullet point list, always delete and start over in PPT -- or better yet convert to Google Slides and covert back if for some weird reason it actually needs to be PPT in the end.
