Hello,

I have a problem that has recently started popping up for a few of my clients. They are using Windows Pro 10/11 on laptops. The clients are getting an IP address from DHCP, but are not getting any DNS server information. I thought that maybe this was a server-side issue for one customer running Server 2012, but one of those laptops had the same issue connecting to home WiFi and mobile hotspots. Wired connections don't have this problem. This problem only started a couple of weeks ago, and now I have about 12 people across several companies with the same issue.

Many thanks,

Tim

Tried netsh winsock reset, tried multiple reboots, gpupdate /force /sync making it forget the corp wifi, and even nocking it off the domain and rejoining. None of that fixed it.
The fix was uninstalling the WIFI Nic, choosing the option to purge the driver too, then rebooting the machine and letting it reinstall the NIC from scratch. Now how does that make any sense?!?!
