Hi ,

I am working MS Dynamic 365 project in one of the banking account since 4 years and i have a requirement to do performance testing (Client Side) for Mobile app (Power Apps) in Ipad device.

I have searching in google and can't find performance testing approach for mobile app .

Can you please help here and provide more insight on this.

Regards

    Hello there,

When it comes to performance testing Power Apps on an iOS device, such as an iPad, there are several approaches you can take to ensure optimal performance. Here's a suggested performance testing approach for Power Apps on an iPad device:

Identify Performance Metrics: Determine the key performance metrics that are important for your Power App. This could include response time, page load time, data retrieval time, and any specific metrics related to the functionality and user experience of your app.

Test Environment: Set up a test environment that closely resembles the production environment. This should include an iPad device with similar specifications to the target user devices, the necessary network infrastructure, and any backend systems that the Power App interacts with.

Define Test Scenarios: Identify the critical user scenarios or workflows that your Power App is expected to handle. Create test scenarios that simulate realistic user interactions with the app, including data input, navigation, and data retrieval.

Load Testing: Perform load testing to assess the performance of your Power App under anticipated user loads. Use load testing tools to simulate concurrent user activity and monitor the app's performance metrics. Gradually increase the load to identify the breaking point or any performance bottlenecks.

Stress Testing: Conduct stress testing to evaluate how the Power App handles extreme usage scenarios. Apply heavy loads, including a high number of concurrent users or large data sets, and monitor the app's behavior, response time, and any potential issues that arise.

Network Performance Testing: Assess the performance of your Power App under different network conditions, such as varying network speeds and fluctuations in network connectivity. Test the app's responsiveness when connected to different networks, including Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
