If the only change was adding RAM, the newly installed module might be faulty or improperly seated.
The system could also have some dirt on the previously unused memory slot.
After increasing the RAM for a Win 10 system the system is showing BSOD error.
I had increased RAM for a Windows 10 pro Intel i7 11th gen processor System by adding an additional ram of the same frequency. But ever since Blue screen error is shown and I have to hard restart the system 2 to 3 times a day because of this. Since its a running DNS machine it has to be avoided. The increased RAM is also required as AD server will also be run on the same machine in future.
When I checked the event viewer. One of the errors shown was : Event id 1001
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c000001d, 0xfffff807632a00ee, 0xffffc988c9413290, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 42f771b0-3860-4162-a2d4-15def662d607.
