The client/server ERP system we are using is programmed in PowerBuilder. We have been using it on regular RDP machines for 10 years in RemoteApp mode. We are currently in the process of replacing our old RDP servers with AVD machines with FSLogix user profile disks.
We noticed that running the exact same ERP system .EXE using the exact same user profile is about 50% slower in RemoteApp mode than in full desktop mode. We do not understand where this performance hit comes from. We never experienced this with the legacy RDP-servers.
Is anybody else experiencing similar issues? Any tips on solving this?

Thanks for looking into this.
The ERP-application reports the response times for SQL-queries in the status bar (and writes them to a database log). Those query times are on average double the amounts of the same queries running in the same app of the same user with the same profile in full desktop mode.
We did not open a support case just yet as we are still investigating the issue. Tips on how to trace the cause are welcome. Thanks!
