Legacy Window Server 2016 Essentials that uses its Remote Website since going live many years ago. When I look at the device list on https://remote.xxxxxxx.com/remote there is one computer missing. When I check AD Computers it is found, but on Windows Server Essentials Dashboard it does not show.

Thoughts?

    Hello @ Bob Alvarez

    • Have there been any recent changes or updates to the missing device?
    • Double-check the network connection of the missing device to ensure it is still properly connected
    • On the missing device, ensure that the Windows Server Essentials Connector software is installed and running correctly, also try to uninstall and then reinstall it.
    • You may also want to check the event logs on the device for any errors or issues that could be causing the problem.

The device was renamed. Its current name is listed correctly in AD - Computers. It is not listed as a Device option on the server dashboards or the remote website list of devices.

I ran the 2016 Essentials Server Connector software from the server and this resolved my issue. This laptop had been used remotely for a long time. It appears it needed to be reconnected, for some reason.
