Question:
How can I fix a corruption issue I am encountering when editing my Query Rule in the membership rules under the device collection in SCCM? I created a Query Rule with the following code snippet:
However, when I go to edit the Query Rule in the collection, SCCM alters the class attribute, and I am unable to proceed.
I need help in identifying the cause of this problem and a solution that can stop this from affecting me every time I create query rules in any device collection in SCCM. Please provide any codes snippets or relevant documentation that may help in resolving this issue.

I included the snapshot of the issue in the body of the question. The first image is what i select when creating the query. The second image is what i get when i go back in to edit the query.

Thank you for your explanation again.
Like Garth mentioned, collection has the predetermine columns no matter what we do in the General tab, but if we add some criteria in Criteria tab, it will keep in there when you edit the query.
If you do the same thing in Monitoring\Queries\Create Query, the class and attribute will not be altered when you edit the query again.

Collections have a predetermine columns that will be selected no matter what you do. Collection will never has columns like displayname , version, last logon, etc.
