If we have two ip address allocated with one VM name, how can we trigger backup?
I am using below azure backup command:
az backup protection backup-now --resource-group <rg> --vault-name <vault> --container-name <container> --item-name <vm name> --retain-until 20-11-2020 --backup-management-type AzureIaasVM
And getting below error:
Command group 'backup' is in preview. It may be changed/removed in a future release.\nMultiple items found. Please give native names instead.

As far as I know it's currently not possible to trigger an Azure Backup by using the IP address.

Then how can we trigger backup when one hostname is associated with 2 ip address. If I am using the regular command as mentioned in my question, getting below error:
Command group 'backup' is in preview. It may be changed/removed in a future release.\nMultiple items found. Please give native names instead.
As it states, the "backup" command is still in preview, which means it's not in its final stage so changes could still be made to it. As it appears today, it only seem to accept a hostname with one IP-address.
