Azure VMs limit for update management

Hi team, We are looking for patching around 1000 of vm's with windows and linux and we have to do patching with update management. Please can you advise is there any VM limit for azire update management patching ? Can we patch 1000 of VM. ? Whether Update management will supports it ? Also provide strategy to implement it 1000 of vm.

    @Jayesh Sawant Adding further to the information Vahid shared, Automation Update management relies on Log Analytics agent (aka MMA agent), which is on a deprecation path and won’t be supported after August 31, 2024. Update management center (Preview) is the v2 version of Automation Update management and the future of Update management in Azure. UMC is a native service in Azure and does not rely on Log Analytics agent or Azure Monitor agent. Update management center (preview) can manage machines that are currently managed by Azure Automation Update management feature without interrupting your update management process. However, we don't recommend migrating from Automation Update Management since this preview gives you a chance to evaluate and provide feedback on features before it's generally available (GA).

    You can choose any of the versions based on the supported operating systems as there is no limit on patching.
