Hello.

Would like to know if Azure Lab Services terms of service allow installing third party application on VM deployed in lab, provided it is a trial license from the third party (so it is legal legitimate use).

Thanks

    Hello, @Mdg Rkb !

Can I install third party software on Azure Lab Services?

Yes, creating your own lab images that you've customized with properly licensed software is a feature for Azure Lab Services:

Create a new custom image: You can create your own custom image by using an Azure Marketplace image as a starting point. You can then customize it by installing additional software and making configuration changes.

Note that you are responsible for having the appropriate license for applications that are installed as well as the use of the software. Some software may have special rules for cloud environments or repeated use by multiple people. You should review the terms of service for the specific third party applications you want to install to ensure that you are complying with their licensing requirements.
