Teams voicemail: change default transfer announcement

Hello everyone

We use the call transfer possibility in the voicemail settings to manage our calls and deliver the missed calls to coworkers. Microsoft provides a default greeting that informs the caller that the call is being transferred. Can this default greeting be changed (through the user interface or through Powershell by a Teams admin)?

So far I have only been able to change a user's greeting or out of office message, not the default transfer message in the voicemail settings. It can hardly be due to a voicemail policy configuration, as I can reproduce the same result in my test tenant.

Has anyone had experience with the transfer voicemail settings in teams? Is there a potential solution / workaround to change / delete the default announcement?

Kind regards,

Fabian

    Hi @Fabian_Haering

Do you want to change Teams' prompt voice when transferring a call?

According to my test, when transferring a call, it will automatically play the greeting set by the other party's user and then play the prompt voice of the transferred call. The prompt voice cannot be modified, which is the design of Teams.

To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

Thanks for your understanding and support.
