Hello team,

I've encountered an issue while using the Azure Media Player (latest version: 2.3.11). On Android, Talkback users can focus on the Quality button, but they are unable to interact with them by double-tapping.

Please refer to the attached screenshot where the Quality button is highlighted.

On the other hand, in Windows with a small screen, inside the More Options menu, NVDA users can focus on the Closed Caption and Quality buttons using Alt + Arrow key, but they are unable to interact with them by double-tapping. And also, the screen reader doesn't announce the name of each button when navigating.

Please refer to the attached screenshot where the Closed Caption and Quality button are highlighted.

Hi @Binh Phan Duc , thanks for the question.

Just a heads up, Azure Media Service which includes Azure Media Player will be retired on June 30, 2024. You have the option to migrate to third-party offerings from the Azure Marketplace for all Media Services workflows, except for audio and video analysis workflows, which can be migrated to Azure Video Indexer. An email was recently sent out to all AMS users which contained high-level notification information and a link to the public AMS retirement landing page.

Action Required: To prevent disruptions to your workloads, review this retirement guide for options to transition your workflow before June 30, 2024. After this date, Media Services won’t be supported, and you won’t have access to your Media Services accounts.

Both MediaKind and Harmonic will offer dynamic packaging of existing AMS content without requiring the content to be moved to another location or reprocessed in most cases. If you decide not to use this option, you can convert your Media Services assets to CMAF format with HLS and DASH manifests using the initial version of the open-source Azure Media Services Migration Tool. This tool allows you to stream content directly from Azure Storage. See the open issues section of the tools readme for capabilities that will be supported in future versions of this tool.

    Hope that helps.

    Best,

    Grace
