Hello,

I have already increased the size of the email to be received from external domains (Internet)  on the "Message Size Restriction' but still its getting rejected from gmail.

I want a particular user to receive 50mb Email from outside.

Its not enough to just set the connector.

You have to set the global org limits to 50GB for send and receive, set any connectors used to 50MB then set the mailbox itself as well:

If it just for one user, then create a transport rule that rejects messages larger than the current limit with an exception for this user.

Thanks for the reply, if I set 50 MB on the ORG level then all the users will receive the same size isnt it ?

I precisely want this setting on a single user.

Correct. thats why you create a transport rule. See my answer above:

Andy its not about rejecting the 50mb email externally its about allowing single user to receive 50 mb From external domain and all other users should be having limits for 15 mb receiving from outside.

I think you are misunderstanding :)

The transport rule would reject messages larger than 15MB for ALL users except this one.

Then you set the global SEND and RECEIVE limits (Set both) to 50MB, and all the connector limits to 50MB receive limits and the mailbox of this user itself to 50MB.

This way only this one mailbox can receive a message of 50MB from the internet

Hi @Syed Khairuddin ,

Aside from creating the transport rule to reject messages larger than the current limit for all other users except this one, another way is to set the mailbox level limit to the current limit for all the other mailboxes.

As according to Order of precedence and placement of message size limits, "the most restrictive limit is enforced".
