Win2k16/19 DHCP: Why don't the individual partners in a load balance configuration show their OWN leases, instead of all leases.

It would be really nice to know, in a load balanced DHCP partnering, which server clients actually have their lease with.

Guess I'm just venting here, wondering why Microsoft in their wisdom didn't make that distinction. It would be helpful in troubleshooting a MAN. If anyone knows how to extract that information for 4,000+ clients, that would be helpful.

Thanks.

    Hello  Gregg Dow

Load balanced DHCP work together is to ensure that DHCP leases are available even if one server becomes unavailable. This is achieved by sharing lease information between the servers.

To ensure that clients receive consistent IP address leases regardless of which DHCP server they interact with, the DHCP servers synchronize lease information. This means that both servers maintain the same lease database, which includes lease reservations, lease durations, and lease assignments.

    Best regards,
