Error in DHCP on windows server

Dears,

I'm facing an issue with DHCP as per the following:

When we want to install DHCP from roles & features in server manager (Windows Server 2016), it was installed successfully, but I’m unable to run the DHCP as per the screenshot and create new scopes on and also the DHCP Name is defferent that FQDN or Hostname for the server as per the attached screenshot.

    Hello there,

    I would suggest that you check if you can start the dependency service for DHCP client service.

    Is there anything in event viewer?

    I would suggest you to use proc mon to identify if there is nothing on the event viewer.

    Check that the DHCP server's address pool still has addresses available. You should also check for a network problem in the part of the network where the failing device is connected. It could be an incorrect switch port configuration, or perhaps the switch for your device has disconnected from the rest of the subnet.

    Hello, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. To further resolve this issue, please kindly try below method:

    1. Check if DHCP role is displayed in AD roles.
    2. Check if DHCPServer service is running properly by task manager.
    3. Check if this DHCP Server holds a proper IP assignment.
