Good morning:

My Exchange account can send emails from all my devices and from outlook.com; however it has stopped receiving emails on all devices and also on outlook.com. The mailboxes are not full.

This is an Exchange account.

When I performed a test I got the following report (From icloud to Exchange account):

<********@periodistas.com>: connect to periodistas.com[62.97.142.19]:25:
   Connection timed out
Reporting-MTA: dns; ci74p00im-qukt09090302.me.com
X-Postfix-Queue-ID: 45D9A5BC02DD
X-Postfix-Sender: rfc822; ***********@icloud.com
Arrival-Date: Mon, 28 Aug 2023 11:53:45 +0000 (UTC)

Final-Recipient: rfc822; ******@***************
Original-Recipient: rfc822;************@periodistas.com
Action: failed
Status: 4.4.1
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; connect to periodistas.com[62.97.142.19]:25:
   Connection timed out

Any suggestions as to why this may be happening?

Thanks

    Hi @Óscar Hdez. Mañas ,

Thanks for posting in our Q&A forum.

There could be several reasons why this is happening. One possible reason is that there might be a problem with the connection between your email client and the Exchange server. Another reason could be that there might be an issue with your email account settings.

Please check whether there’s a problem with your Exchange account: If you’re not receiving emails on all your devices, it’s possible that there’s a problem with your Exchange account. You can try the following methods to fix this issue:

    1. Verify that Outlook is online.
    2. Check your Microsoft Exchange server connection.
    3. Empty the cache in Outlook so that Outlook can download all the items from your Microsoft Exchange account again.

Let us know if any updates.

    Hi,

It seems that my problem is related to the professional domains offered by Hotmail.com years ago.

With the purchase of Hotmail by Microsoft these professional domains were taken over by Microsoft, but they have not been supported by Microsoft for at least 3 months; unless they have a problem and are working on it.

However, it is rare that you can send mails and not receive mails with these professional domains. Mine was @periodistas.com (In English: @journalists.com)
