We have a Document library with versioning enabled. Documents uploaded are initially in Pending state and need to be Approved or Rejected by users. The process has worked without issues for many months. But all of a sudden, the Approve/Reject button has gone missing for all users, including users with Owner permissions. There has been no change in configuration. What can be the issue?

Check if the option "Require content approval for submitted items?" is still set to Yes under Library setting -- Versioning Settings. 34692-image.png

    Hi @Farzan Hasani ,

    Try as follows:

    1. Re-enable content approval in current library to check if the issue still exists.
    2. Enable content approval in other libraries then compare the result.
    3. Return to classic experience to see whether you could approve/reject the documents.

If all documents libraries have the same issue in the tenant, I suggest you open a Microsoft ticket to check if there is something wrong on back-end side.
