Is there a work around to use VSTest task to run the tests on a mac agent

We want to publish the test results to azure devops test cases which were run through a azure devops yaml pipeline.For running tests on a windows platform we are using VSTest task where the task itself will take care of publishing the results to the respective test cases, but VSTest task in a azure pipeline is not supported on a Mac agent. Is there a work around to use VSTest task to run the tests on a mac agent or is there an alternative task/workaround to publish the test results to a test plan or test cases?The automation tests are written in dotnet core.
