Hey,
Im having issues with trying to run/start a docker container in azure, it pulls the image fine then it start to run it and then just stops it goes into this 'Waiting' state???
Any ideas??

Can you check the JSON View on Azure Portal as it contains additional information, such as an exit code or a reason, that is not shown elsewhere in the Azure portal.
Also, you can check the Events and Logs for your container.

yeah i did it just shows as stopped but doesn't tell me why

can you try to change the entrypoint of the image to start the container then exec to the container and check your application to see the reason of the issue, here is a command line example:
az container create -g MyResourceGroup --name myapp --image ubuntu --command-line "tail -f /dev/null"
