Nested DL do not show fully in O365

My company is in the middle of migrating from Exchange 2013 to Microsoft Exchange Online and one obstacles I’ve encountered is getting a Distribution List to replicate properly to Exchange Directory services for everyone to access. All other DL's so far are working as expected. This particular DL contains "All Employees" and contains nested DL's within it. When someone sends an email to it there is no error and the email is delivered just not to everyone. There is only 1 nested group showing in the DL from O365 perspective whereas on-prem users show multiple nested group within that group.
Is there a way to successfully replicate nested DL's to O365 directory services and if so how is it done?

Thanks,
AC

If the nested groups are not syncing that tells me those groups are not configured correctly.
Ensure all the DLs are universal groups and are not filtered in any other way ( by attribute or OU or Dynamic )
Do the nested groups individually get synced?

Here is the criteria for what gets synced in groups.
