I am reaching out today to kindly ask for your assistance regarding a specific situation we are facing in our company.

Current Situation:
In our organization, many employees use the same computer on a daily basis. Due to some limitations with our sales software, I need to log in to Windows 10 using a custom account (not linked to any Microsoft account).

What I Know:
I am aware of the passwordless methods including Microsoft Authenticator, FIDO2 security keys, and Windows Hello fingerprint scanner. However, I am exploring alternatives to these options.

What I Am Looking For:
I am seeking a solution that allows our employees to log in to Microsoft applications like Outlook, Power Apps, and Power BI using a 4-digit PIN instead of a password. Is it possible to set up Windows Hello to use a PIN for logging in to these applications and even browser apps, but only on the company’s computers?

Your insights and guidance will be highly valuable to me as I navigate this new terrain. Can any of you point me in the right direction or inform me about the feasibility of this setup? Your support and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

    Hello @Farma Vip , in order to authenticate to Microsoft cloud applications using a PIN after signin to Windows devices using a local account, you can deploy Windows Hello for Business in Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) registered devices.
