I have got an email about "Bing Search APIs will transition from Azure Cognitive Services to Azure Marketplace on 31 October 2023" and I have a Search Service which is Azure AI Services loading data from my database and create index of the data. Do I need to migrate to bing search service? if that is the case which service do I need to migrate to?

    Hello @jeanrojas

Thanks for reaching out to us, Bing Search APIs are moving from Cognitive Services to Bing Search Services. Starting October 30, 2020, any new instances of Bing Search need to be provisioned following the process documented here. Bing Search APIs provisioned using Cognitive Services will be supported for the next three years or until the end of your Enterprise Agreement, whichever happens first. For migration instructions, see Bing Search Services.

As above announcement, please migrate your service as the document - https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/bing/search-apis/bing-web-search/create-bing-search-service-resource

You just need to move your Bing Search Services and update the key and endpoint, then you should be fine to continue your business.

After 31 October 2023, you cannot use your old service under Azure. To avoid this happening, please migrate your service to Microsoft. I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Yutong
