Azure AI service - Translation - Dictionary lookup is missing a translation

When translating the English word "mine" (as in iron mine) to French, the only translation returned is the possessive "mine" (ie 'that is mine').

I am using the beta Translator Text SDK

I tried directly translating, which worked, but I would prefer the list of dictionary lookups as I can use the part of speech to make sure I get the correct translation.

I am using a free trial of azure so I cannot log a support ticket. As this would improve the product for others I feel that I should be able to report it

How can I provide feedback to have this resolved? Or how can I resolve this myself?

    Hi @Chris Aeberhard ,

Thank you for the clarification. I apologize for the confusion in my previous response.

If you have feedback for Microsoft Translator, you can submit it through the "Feedback" section on the Azure Translator documentation page. Here's how to do it:

    1. Go to the Translator Text API documentation page.
    2. Scroll down to the "Feedback" section at the bottom of the page and click on "This Product" button.
    3. Fill out the feedback form with your comments, suggestions, or issues you encountered while using the Azure Translator.
    4. Click on the "Submit" button to send your feedback to the Microsoft Translator team.

    I hope this helps.

Please 'Accept as answer' and ‘Upvote’ if it helped so that it can help others in the community looking for help on similar topics. Thank you!
