Which is a similar service in Azure for direct fiber connections in AWS?

Hi,

We want to move our organisation from AWS to Azure. So looking for similar services in Azure for direct fibre connection in AWS? Can you please help with this as soon as possible?

As per the AWS to Azure services comparison document, the Azure equivalent of AWS Direct Connect is Azure ExpressRoute.

Hello @Khushboo Kumari , it is Azure ExpressRoute only.

The screenshot you shared above have ExpressRoute Direct which is a type of ExpressRoute connectivity available in Azure ExpressRoute for large data ingestion and physical isolation for regulated markets, and dedicated capacity for burst scenario, like rendering and ExpressRoute Global Reach is an add-on available in Azure ExpressRoute to exchange data across your on-premises sites by connecting your ExpressRoute circuits.

ExpressRoute Traffic Collector is a monitoring tool which enables sampling of network flows sent over your ExpressRoute Direct circuits. Flow logs get sent to a Log Analytics workspace where you can create your own log queries for further analysis.

So, if you need a direct connection from your on-premises to Azure, you should choose Azure ExpressRoute.

If you need additional capabilities such as large data ingestion or your industry require physical isolation as you regulate and require dedicated or isolated connectivity (industries such as banks, government, and retail companies), then you can opt for ExpressRoute Direct.

If you have multiple ExpressRoute circuits connected to different on-premises locations and would like to make a private network between your on-premises networks via the ExpressRoute circuits, then you can enable the Global Reach add-on on your existing ExpressRoute circuits.
