i am trying to deploy to a Linux app service. the message is get on VS is attached. and what i see when i have deployed the app. what i see when i click on the link is ":( Application Error

Please tell me what programming language is your webapp written in? And please try to add the Startup Command, then check the issue.

If it still not works, don't worry, and follow my steps to investigate the issue deeper.

**1.**Click the Diagnose and solve problems , and check the application logs and container crash.

**2.**Enable App Service Logs, restart the site and check the logs(if there is logs generated).

**3.**If you are using the Free Tier, you can temporarily change the App Service Plan to the Standard Plan for testing, and if you still have problems, you can continue to switch to the Free Plan.

Glad to hear you can solve the issue. Asp.Net application not support in linux platform, but Asp.net Core can.

Hi @JasonPan - MSFT you are right, ASP. Net application is not supported on Linux. I was using Asp.net Core but I was just having issues. thanks for taking the time to reply to me
