DNS name issue

Hi Team,

we hosted our application azure virtual machine ubuntu 20.04, instead of IP address we are planned to access our application securely, we created DNS name for that. 3 days back we created but we are not able to access the application.

note: can you please suggest how to access my application in private network. i need to access the application in securely.

    Your requirement is not clear.

    • Do you want to access the VM via Public Internet or via Private Network?
    • From the screenshot, I see you intend to use "esm.southindia.cloudapp.azure.com" as your DNS Name.
    • But per my tests, I can see the domain is actually resolving to the Public IP.

    Also, looking at the screenshot,

    • This does not look like a DNS issue.
    • And when I access "esm.southindia.cloudapp.azure.com", I am able to see a Login screen.

    Can you please provide more info on what exactly is the issue here?
