CrossTenantSync - E-Mail Connector within Business Central

Hi
We used cross tenant synchronisation to sync the users to the "B" tenant (Company B) and activated Business Central for the users. Everything, except the e-mail integration is working fine so far.
However, the Exchange connector in Business Central doesn’t work like this, telling us, that the Exchange Server is not available. Of course, the users mailboxes, M365 licenses and so on are in the tenant "A" (Compny A)
Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed for this scenario?
May something like that the Exchange in Tenant A knows about the connecnted Tenant B
