Does this issue occur with all Visio files that new created and created before?
Besides, how did you install Visio application? Generally, you may go to Microsoft My Account > Apps & devices, download and install it.
Currently, I suggest you click following buttons without opening any files: File > Account > Update Now
, then update it to the latest one.
Then try to click File > Options > Advanced > General section > File Locations
, check whether you have changed the default paths.
You may also go to Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Applications
, check if there is any related record. If so, please share us with more information, such as the error module.
