I want to ask a question about 【End of servicing plan for third-party printer driver on Windows】

I know that in 2025, new printer drivers will be approved on a case-by-case basis for Windows Update or WHQL signing.

Until now, we run the WHQL test and pass it ,then we can get the Windows Update or WHQL signing. In 2025, approved on a case-by-case basis will be required. Does this mean we need do some extra test (check) ? what does differ from now ? Could you tell me some thing in detail?
