Trying to configure Dev Center Getting "ResourceAvailabilityCheckNoIntuneReaderRoleError"

I can not find a intune "Reader Role" in azure Entra ID or Entra DS.

Can I use a group to assign this role?

Regards

Morgan

    @Ecklund, Morgan,Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

    Honestly, I'm not familiar with DevCenter. There is no helpful information I can share with you. For this issue, it seems needed Intune and Azure support to solve together. Given this situation, it is suggested to create an online support ticket to get more help. Here is the support link:

    We did not have Intune licenses available (not sure why it was not mentioned that "you need intune licenses" in the install Documentation). I am assuming after we get the intune licensing. We will have the Intune Reader Role.

    More to come.

    I ran into this error when using Intune as provided by another subscription. By purchasing a standalone 'Microsoft Intune Plan 1' subscription here (Plan 1), this error went away.

    I'm not sure if that is a bug with how Dev Center checks for Intune access, but I hope that helps you in the mean time.
