When enabling Copilot for the Edge sidebar, it still says Bing Chat for Enterprise, is there a way to change that?

As we are looking to enable what was "Bing Chat for Enterprise" that name has been changed to copilot, however I am wondering how to get that to show up in Edge correctly.

First we have added the Copilot license for users to be able to use the enterprise version. We have also enabled the Edge sidebar via policy and the when you hover over the icon, it says "Copilot". However, when you click to expand that, it still shows "Bing Chat for Enterprise". When looking at documentation, the goal seams to be that should show up similar to the copilot.microsoft.com so I'm wondering if there is a policy change we need to make or if it just takes time since last Friday was the day it was officially changed to Copilot.

    Hi @Krueger, Eric L,

Copilot is the new name for Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise, and it's now generally available. For the time being, the names Copilot and Bing Chat Enterprise may be used interchangeably as various parts of the experience transition to the new name. It's accessible from copilot.microsoft.com, Bing.com/chat, Edge, and Windows. Eligible users who sign in to Copilot with Entra ID get commercial data protection.

To use Copilot in Edge, the following steps are required:

    1. The Copilot service plan must be turned on and the user must have an eligible license.
    2. The user must sign in to bing.com/chat with their Entra ID (work account).
    3. The user can then access Copilot by clicking on the Copilot icon in the upper right of the Edge browser (Ctrl+Shift+.).

Make sure edge have updated to the latest version. Also, you could refer to this doc to check if your license meets to available requirement and check the FAQ for more information.
