I'm migrating from a personal 365 account to a business standard 365 account and have been unable to get any support directly from Microsoft (impossible to get a human in communication). I intend to use the business account and cancel the personal subscription, as I'm an independent consultant and don't need both, but do need the increased Teams functionality and productivity apps with the business subscription. Before canceling my personal subscription, I'm trying to confirm the following:

  1. Will my outlook.com email address remain active after canceling my personal subscription? I believe the answer is yes, but need to confirm.
  2. How can I use my outlook.com email address with my newly subscribed business account, instead of the ...onmicrosoft.com domain being used for email and account related access to external teams sites?
