Issues with Deleting Old Virtual Machine and Configuring New VM on Azure

I'm new to Linux VMs and facing two issues: My deleted old VM still appears as the default in the command line, and it's not recognizing key pair authentication, asking for a password instead. Continuous configuration issues are blocking progress, and software problems are preventing a system format. Need guidance. Regards, Gregory.

    Please remove the Configuration Manager tag. This is not a ConfigMgr issue.
