Can we change the crawl schedule by any chance from default 15 mins to 5 mins in Sharepoint at Microsoft Office365

    Since the data of SharePoint online is hosted in the cloud, we cannot manually control the trigger time of the scheduled task.

    If you have business needs and need to execute crawl immediately, you can contact Microsoft's engineers to help you execute it immediately in the background.

    The search infra of M365 differs quite a bit from on-prem as search is driven by Microsoft Search. No you don't have access to those settings and there is no SLA regarding Search, but in general the crawls complete within <60 seconds for new/modified/deleted items.
