Until now, everything functioned smoothly. However, today we encountered a problem where both PowerBI Service and Desktop are unable to establish a connection with Azure Analysis Service. The error message indicates an inability to connect to the specified SQL Server Analysis Services database, suggesting verification of the database's existence, the access rights of the user account for this data source, and network accessibility through an on-premises data gateway.

The database and Analysis Service are confirmed to be active and operational. The user, assigned the role of 'Owner' in Analysis Service, appears to have the necessary access rights to the database. The uncertainty lies in the network accessibility aspect in the current context.

Could there be any other restrictions or changes in the Subscription that came into effect today, which might be causing this issue?

If using PowerBI Report Server, a solution that worked for some users involved copying specific libraries from the PowerBI Desktop's bin directory into the PowerBI Report Server's PowerBI directory. This includes files like Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AzureClient.dll and msolap.dll

When trying to connect from PowerBI Desktop to remote Analysis Services outside your domain, using "runas /netonly" and selecting "Windows credentials" at the credential prompt in Power Query might help. This approach was successful for a user who faced a similar connection issue

Otherwise try to increased Replica from 0 to 1. (I found many people doing this in some forums)
