As Azure has been anounced to be not supported after March 2025, I have some doubt of question that the meaning of no longer be supported means that Azure Technical Support will not support issue via ticket or the TSI service will be terminated out of Azure Portal (everything that customer used)

    Hi @Michel Hubert ,

Thank you so much for pointing this out.

Please have a look at this page: https://aka.ms/tsi2rti > Readiness > TSI to ADX - Lessons

It contains the original TSI2ADX guidance, plus additional information how to migrate effectively, along with Fabric and tooling that facilitates the migration to either service.

The Accelerated Retirement Notice section contains additional information. The early retirement date is following recent directives from Microsoft's leadership, who emphasized prioritizing security above all else, including legacy systems support, our management team has decided to accelerate the retirement of the Time Series Insights service to July 7, 2024.

Furthermore, we will fix the docs page (https://aka.ms/tsi-to-fabric) by adding ADX as a second option. It shouldn't have been removed and we apologize in an already challenging spot.

The unreliable behavior of Microsoft is concerning.

First the retirement date was March 2025, which was rushed to July 2024.

First they recommend migrating to ADX and as of yesterday the help pages about migrating to ADX are scrubbed from the internet and replaced by page (and some 404's) urging to migrate to Real-Time Intelligence in Microsoft Fabric.

    https://aka.ms/tsi2adx

Microsoft is losing trust with some of our customers for this unreliable behavior.

Why was the retirement date rushed?

Why are the pages to migrate to ADX scrubbed from the help pages?

Hello @Korpong Siribantuengsilp, welcome to this moderated Azure community forum. The runtime will become unavailable. Check the documentation:

If you are unable to migrate to Time Series Insights to Azure Data Explorer by 31 March 2025, your Time Series Insights resources will be automatically deleted. You’ll be able to access Gen2 data in your storage account.

We are migrating TSI to Azure Data Explorer already. It takes some time for our customers to adjust but all are excited due to the large amount of extra features over the loss of the simple user interface. You could try to build a similar user interface on top of ADX.

Korpong Siribantuengsilp Greetings & Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

In addition to Sander response, please see below for more details.

As Azure has been anounced to be not supported after March 2025, I have some doubt of question that the meaning of no longer be supported means that Azure Technical Support will not support issue via ticket or the TSI service will be terminated out of Azure Portal (everything that customer used)

Azure Data Explorer now provides a data analytics service for streaming telemetry data, Azure Time Series Insights will be retired on 31 March 2025.

Please transition to using Azure Data Explorer by that date.

Also, We encourage you to make the switch sooner to gain the richer benefits of Azure Data Explorer. In addition to the current features you already use, here’s a quick comparison between Azure Time Series Insights and Azure Data Explorer: User's image

Regarding the support , Beginning 31 March 2022 no new features will be released for Azure Time Series Insights**.** All Azure Time Series Insights instances created before the 31 March 2022 date will be supported through 31 March 2025. You can continue to use Azure Time Series Insights or transition to Azure Data Explorer. You can still create a support tickets till the date of support. But as suggested, please migrate your resources as earliest.

For more information on the deprecation and migration, visit our documentation Migrating to Azure Data Explorer

Also note that, If you are unable to migrate to Time Series Insights to Azure Data Explorer by 31 March 2025, your Time Series Insights resources will be automatically deleted. You’ll be able to access Gen2 data in your storage account. However, you’ll only be able to perform management operations (such as updating storage account settings, getting storage account properties/keys, and deleting storage accounts) through Azure Resource Manager. For Gen1 data, if you have a support plan, please create a support ticket to retrieve your Gen1 data. We will keep your Gen1 data until 30 April 2025.

Do let me know if that helps or have any other queries.
