Greetings and Happy New Year!! I have a question /situation with an ultra disk. We have various VMs with ultra disk that when we need to increase size we stop and deallocate the VM, expand disk, save and start the VM but last time we did that but the Save button was gray-out and we cannot expand the disk, is this a new design or is it an issue with ultra disk? Do we need to detach the ultra disk every time we need to expand it1000027993

@Brendan Rojas That warning should only appear when the VM is not stopped or disk is not attached. Make sure your VM is fully stopped or that the disk is fully detached. Either stopping the VM or detaching the disk is adequate, you shouldn't need to do both. Another possibility is you have reached the maximum quota for your subscription or region. You can request a quota increase through the Azure portal or contact support. Please check these possible causes and try again.
