We are currently running the below: Primary ConfigMgr server OS: Server 2012 R2 ConfigMgr 2309 SQL 2014 on the same server as ConfigMgr We also have a 2012 R2 DP and a Server 2019 DP We are looking to move our current ConfigMgr + the database to server 2022 (co-located, same as our current setup). What would be the best option for moving to a new server with the latest Server OS?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Per my experience, SCCM Site Backup and Restore will be a good method here. Helpful articles for your reference:

    You have two options;

    1. In-place upgrade Windows Server 2012 to newer version. (easier)
    2. Backup the database and install new Server, install CM as recovery scenario and use existing database (harder)
