Hello Microsoft, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Elena, and I am a software developer currently working on implementing a feature for capturing dynamic photos using Bing Maps. I have a question regarding the "showHeadingCompass" option in Bing Maps Street Options. I've observed that when I change the compass on the map, the latitude and longitude values don't change significantly. However, I need to be able to capture a picture when the user selects a different location on the map. Could you please provide recommendations or advice on how I can address this issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Elena

Hi @Stenina, Elena , You experience is correct. If you are expecting to be able to set streetside views at arbitrary locations, that won’t work. You can think of Streetside as a string of closed boxes where you are standing inside the box and looking in a particular direction. Take a look at the images in https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/bingmaps/articles/getting-streetside-tiles-from-imagery-metadata to see what I mean. For guidance

Of course, all this depends on having a streetside view available in the area, and the view you get will almost never be exactly at the location you specify – we’ll give you the nearest one.

I hope that clarifies the experience you are seeing and that it is expected to work that way. Sincerely, IoTGirl
