Adding new items to the table is broken. Creating a new item brings up the fields but they are not editable. There are several tables requiring this capability throughout the site. This is lab upgrade testing, taken from 2010 prod to 2016 lab. Above is the message from end user. Below is the screenshot of the new form while adding. Please help

Hi @sns , Please try to create a new edit form in SharePoint designer and set it as default to check the result. Thank you for the response.

When I try to open lists and libraries from designer, I see below screen.

and When I navigate to All files , I can see list and navigated to respective list, From here How to create New Edit form and set it as default? ( all below forms appears to be already there)

so now shall I create new edit form from below screen if yes how?

and if I need to create from list and libraries from first screen shot, Why I am not able to view? I have already cleared the cache and installed latest updates from designer

Please help.

As a simple way, we could edit the list in SharePoint designer with the button as shown below in ribbon(classic experience):

Hi @sns ,

Have you made any customizations in the previous list?

I think this list is corrupted and the correct way is to recreate it in the new farm.
