How can we change the primary region of ACR.

Hi, We have enabled geo-replication for our ACR and we would like to change our primary region. Initially, we created the ACR with single region(Melbourne), however, MEL don't support the AZ. So, we decided to create geo-replication to Sydney region as it supports AZ. Now, we would like to change the primary region from MEL to SYD. Is there any way to change the primary region? Thanks.

    welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

    You could try to use the Azure Resource Mover tool to move your registry to another region.

    Please check the document first, there are multiple steps involved.

    Have you considered Geo-replication too?

    Then the same content is made available in multiple regions. This is a feature of the Premium registries.
