Hello: This is a weird one. When I try to log into my home Microsoft account, I keep getting this message: Sign in Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again. It seems the account is locked onto an old school email account I no longer have access. I contacted the school and they said the account is suspended and is no longer active. I can log on to my home Microsoft account from other PCs or my phone. There is/was no "change" account option to try my home email and now all I get is the error message. Any ideas? Thanks. Bob

Hello, I finally found the issue. Norton Utilities added a tracker extension to my Edge browser that was causing all my problems. Once I removed the extension all was good!

I am getting the same problem, i can log in for 5 seconds and then get this message "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in at the moment. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.". Its getting a bit silly now, i have had my account for over 25 years and never had a problem before.
