Remove Domain admins from local administrators group Servers

Hi The security team asked me to remove the domain admins group from each T1 server's local admin group. Is there an impact if I do this action? We have already implement a GPO to deny domain admins accunt to logon on T1 server and workstaion Is it possible to use Group Policy Preference to perform this cleaning on all of our workstations? I want your confirmation if it's possible.
