we can't see outbound IP address in internal Container App (Azure China), but we can see outbound IP address in external Container App (Azure China). we also found we can see outbound IP address in internal Container App in Azure Global. So we wanted to fully understand if there is a bug (no outbound IP address) in internal Container App in Azure China? or this's by design? if it's by design? how can we get outbound IP address for an internal Container App in Azure China? thank you very much.

Hello again, @Gallatin 21V - Just circling back here. I have confirmed with the ACA team that both Azure Public Cloud and Azure China share the same logic on this matter. As such, the observations should be consistent across both platforms. As you may test again, please consider the following:

    • Outbound IPs are omitted by-design for internal ACA because NAT gateway/egress appliance is to be used
    • Azure China supports Workload profile only but not Consumption.
    • Consumption profile on Azure Public Cloud will show outbound IPs because NAT gateway/egress appliance is not supported.

Hope this helps & provides clarity. If any follow-up questions, feel free to tag me and ask away in the comments below. Thanks!

@Mike Urnun thanks for your explanation on it, my last question: how can I get all outbound IP addresses for my Consumption + Workload container app ? I may need them to whitelist in my other applications, thank you.
